ABOUT ATOCHA DESIGN NEW YORK

Atocha Design was started out of a love for design and music.

Several years ago, we decided we were no longer satisfied with
keeping our record collection hidden away on shelves. But looking
into the marketplace didn't yield any compelling alternatives.
The solution: Jennifer designed a piece that gave us easy access
to our collection, while also showcasing the album covers instead
of the spines. Atocha Design was launched to make our line
of heirloom-quality furniture available to everyone.

Founder and Creative Director Jennifer Levin Atocha has
a background in design and music. For the Atocha Design
collection, Jennifer draws inspiration from the works of
George Nelson, Paul McCobb, Saul Bass and David Bowie.

Atocha Design specializes in artisan-crafted, mid-century–
inspired furniture for storing records, CDs and audio components.
We are a custom studio and can produce your furniture piece
from a range of wood and hardware options. Each cabinet
is made to order—if you don't find what you're looking for on
the configurations page, we can work with you to create
something unique to match your needs. Our furniture is made
entirely in the U.S.A.
